Most people aren't aware of what it means to struggle with codependency. It's not just a feeling of "I can't live without this person", although it can be. Codependency shows up in our lives with having poor boundaries, being a people pleaser, feeling incredibly guilty/selfish for "putting yourself first", or feeling like a child living inside of an adult's body. No matter how long codependency has been a part of your life, it's certainly possible for you to be free of those patterns.
Living with depression can make you feel drained, or like you never feel rested or energized. It makes things feel less enjoyable or dull. Depression makes us feel irritable, gives us brain fog, and has us say terrible things to ourselves. Whether you've been dealing with depression short-term or long-term, therapy can provide relief.
